Authenticity

I am on what seems a never-ending search for truth in a world that has carefully and in some cases not so carefully constructed a countenance not consistent with palpability. I don’t approach life like other people, people that are all to content to believe in narratives that are consistent with their personal views. I abhor anything that isn’t genuine, and as a result, I seem to exist within the tiniest minority on this plane of existence. I don’t for a second believe I am somehow superior to these other ‘individuals’. However, I do use the term individual loosely. Continue reading “Authenticity”

The Brevity of Existence

Life is conceived in a brief moment. Like a flash of lightning, it is ignited, and in that same instantaneous flash, it can end. We begin life in our early years sure of our future and confident of the greatness we will achieve.  Life is a wonder to behold, and the possibilities seem endless. It is impossible for the young not too long to be older, to go out and do all those great things that they imagined.  Without even realizing it we begin to wish our time away so we can move on to what we consider a grand adventure.
