The Pretentious Puerile Imbeciles

I don’t expect to inspire my readers with words of encouragement today. However, I intend to tell a story about what it’s like to exist in a world where no one understands you. A world in which you know everyone too well, so much so that you doubt your instincts and intellect and instead lead yourself into unsatisfying and uncompromising situations. It’s difficult to discuss what living amongst people that see the world, so one-dimensionally feels like, incapable of seeing beyond their own biases and unable to perceive anyone for who or what they indeed are because they hide from everyone they meet. They live their entire lives in a lie and are thus incapable of processing truth when presented to them. They see honesty in others as a form of deception. When the majority of people live disingenuously, they expect that everyone else is like them.
It might be easy to categorize such an expectation as hubris, but experience has taught me that people are cheap imitations of those that preceded them for the most part. If most people imitate those around them, they behave in a devolved state of existence, relying on primitive instincts to determine their behavior and instead behave like herd animals. Any book can teach you that man’s higher intellect separated him from more primitive creatures and allowed the human species to evolve into a higher plane of existence from more simplified lifeforms. Unfortunately, most of us didn’t develop to such a degree that we could assert dominance over primitive life; we played a game of follow the leader.
People follow what they believe works, and those that led us out of the dark ages of existence were undoubtedly intelligent and driven, and the humans of a more primitive nature followed their more enlightened brethren. We live in a world that promises knowledge to everyone; with a simple keystroke, a vast wealth of information is at your disposal. With a simple keystroke, blithering idiots can reinforce their biases with misinformation and perhaps some truth. So even though we have access to vaults of knowledge, we as a society are less intelligent as a whole than at any point in recorded history. We rely on others to do our thinking for us and thus render ourselves shockingly exposed to the manipulations and machinations of those with an agenda not our own.
I digress, I meant to describe my existence, but I felt it might be somewhat important to provide a bit of background on where we now find ourselves. I look very hard every day of my life for the good in others; sometimes, I even convince myself for a short time that I see it. But, unfortunately, it’s rare to find good amongst the drooling masses, the drones content to relive the lives of those around them incapable of original thought or form. I stare out amongst those around me into dead eyes, eyes that look but never see. I see ears that listen but only hear what they wish to hear. I listen to words, but words without soul or any significant meaning. I listen to platitudes spoken but never meant. I see love declared but never fulfilled and promises made that are never kept.
I experience life as a visitor from another plane of existence. I feel as if I’ve been dropped and discarded amongst the rabble that I belong among some other people somewhere far away from these dark and emotionally and intellectually stunted peoples that one might describe as peers if the prospect wasn’t too painful to endure. I see people exist in a mental haze. These people are sober when I encounter them, and so I can only imagine the infinite depths of their inbred stupidity when they partake in their drug-induced leisure time. I might marvel at the fact that they can dress themselves and occasionally verbalize words rather than simple grunts of acceptance or displeasure. If those of us who share my disposition weren’t so small in number, I might indeed marvel; in fact, billions of such unthinking and unevolved people rule this very world and thus enable such inebriated and deluded creatures to exist and even flourish when they all are deserving of Darwin awards.
Nature should be allowed to take its course. It will eventually, but by then, we all will suffer for the travesty we have allowed to unfold. The infinite coddling of those that should have perished by the very puerility they propagate. They breed and seek to reproduce so they might continue to pollute this world with their abhorrent seed. The world is run by the mediocre. The reason those with infantile minds are allowed to flourish is they make wonderful forced labor, too stupid to imagine themselves in chains, only too happy to scrape up the scraps thrown to them and feel happy, as long as they can continue to get high and live under the delusion that they have any real value to anyone outside of themselves. They have no individuality and behave after the awful examples provided by their immediate family and people they call their friends. Let’s be clear such lower rungs of society have no true values, and they value people only as long as those people fulfill some need, either physical or emotional. America was once described as a melting pot, but for very different reasons. The only thing melting in that pot and indeed any pot in this world are the last few remaining brain cells of the ignorant masses of men and women.
