Trade war on the Horizon?

Those of us alive today are no strangers to conflict, now we face what could amount to a trade war that might very well lead to another cold war amongst rival powers. I recently read an article about the potential for new tariffs and a threatened response by China. It seems like a no-win situation for either country as we are the main consumers of Chinese made products and both economies are locked into a symbiotic relationship for better or for worse.  I will post a link to the article below, please share your thoughts.
