Humanity has a long history fraught with wars and disputes of all kinds. We have displayed an inability to coexist with others peacefully for any significant length of time. Despite our primal instincts we as human are drawn to order and structure. We quite frankly need to believe in something greater than ourselves in order to function for any length of time as civilized creatures. Throughout that history, we can see many examples of what happens to societies when the power structure breaks down. Humans descend into barbarism that advances to such a degree that those left standing long for a return to order and thus vigilantism gives over to structure and security in a hierarchical form. The catalyst that ignited the fires that incinerated and caused societal barriers to breakdown are forgotten, and humans once again enslave themselves to an idea. Continue reading “The Replay”
Life is a pursuit of happiness for some, and the search for money and power for others and these two goals are not always synonymous with each other. We often find ourselves beginning these journeys without ever knowing ourselves as separate and unique individuals. We copy the behavior that we like and disregard that which is displeasing in other people. Such behavior while viable is a shortcut to existing within the human framework we call society. Living in this manner is detrimental to personal happiness and identity. We all view the world through slightly different lenses, colored with the hue of our own biases and desires. Finding oneself among so much fabrication and betrayal is difficult and a very different journey for each person. Continue reading “The Castaway”
Faith can be a beautiful thing to have. If we love someone implicitly then we put our trust and faith in their steadfastness. Faith that is placed in the fallible though is very likely to disappoint us in a myriad of ways. We place faith in our elected representatives to faithfully represent us, to be our voice to advocate our values. What we have unfortunately discovered is that most people forget to be our voice and instead act in their own interests and of those more affluent than themselves. Movements spring up across our nation promising change, what we usually end up with is the status quo in new clothing. New faces are simply compilations of those that came before them, nothing is new under the sun. Continue reading “Faith in People/Movements”
History is filled with empires that have risen and then fallen, usually through a gradual decline. These entities grew larger until governing them became a perilous endeavor. There are countless theories as to why such empires collapsed, but I believe it is due to a culture clash among the radically different populations intermingling and attempting to find common ground on which to agree. Some cultures are capable of assimilating rather well, but some are so wholly different from one another that it makes assimilation near impossible. Today, the clarion call of pop culture seems to be diversity. I submit this diversity is a term of little meaning. Diversity is great as long as everyone thinks similarly to those extolling its virtues from the hilltops. In fact, this term is merely masking the autocrats among us that wish to instill one government among all nations, abolish religion, and to instruct the people’s of this earth on what to believe. Real diversity is in keeping our unique cultures and control over the destiny of our countries. Continue reading “A Case for the Sovereign State”
Independence is a great attribute to have. Independence allows us to branch out and focus our energies on greater tasks. Independence for a nation is of utmost importance. Without independence, a nation becomes dependent on other nations whose own interests rightly outweigh the dependent nation’s needs. Therefore, the dependent nation becomes on some level subject to the whims of the countries that have the resources it needs. It becomes increasingly problematic when the nation that a dependent nation depends on, harbors a mass population with no love for that nation.
Energy independence is a buzz term you hear all the time in the mainstream media. There is no doubt that our oil reserves are larger than the nations we depend upon. (LEFEBVRE & SIDER, 2014) What cause us to still depend on these suspect nations for our energy reserves? Oil is considered by many to be a pollutant, and there can be no doubt it is. The practices by which we extract this oil has also caused some concern among the green energy crowd. Our ambitions for green energy have not yet caught up with our desire to employ them. I believe we must still depend on oil to maintain a strong and independent nation.
This great country was once entirely independent of other nations in terms of food production. We were able to entirely feed our population without importing foods. Today, the nation’s cattle herd is smaller than it was in the 1950s! (Shields, 2014) However, our citizen population has grown tremendously since the 1950s. We now must import much of our beef, and beef prices continue to climb. This is only a symptom of the a greater problem. We have become a consumer based economy.
We once proudly manufactured most of the products sold in America, in America! Imagine that if you can. Now, we import so much of what we use. So many of our manufacturing jobs have been lost to overseas manufacturing. This makes our economy nothing more than a paper tiger. We don’t have the hard assets to back up our fiat currency. We are now the largest debtor nation in the world!! (Rogers, 2014) These are tough time for our economy. The government paid economists will tell you that everything is okay, and it will be for them. This nation is in trouble.
We must as a people go back to the pioneering spirit that made this country great! We must consider indepence a golden principle and a goal we must achieve. We should look for alternative sources of energy and find ways to make them affordable. We have to use what we have to keep our nation from collapsing. We need to support our farmers and ranchers. We should also promote small farming and ranching. We have these large mega companies freezing out their competition, and that is not the definition of a free market. We have to go back to our manufacturing base, and proudly produce products in America. We don’t want America to continue to fall into decay and become beyond repair. Altruism is a good attribute to have, but not if you slit your own throats in the process.

Freedom means many different things to different people. A lot of people seem to think that freedom is the ability for people to do only the things that they agree with. Freedom means having the ability to make wrong choices as well as the right ones. It means you have the freedom to say what you want, without some government designated free speech zone. It means you can go where you want. It means if you want to do something that’s harmful only to you then you have that right. The false left-right paradigm’s idea of freedom is that you are free only as long as you agree with me.
The erosion of freedom starts at a snails pace, and gradually picks up steam until you are living in chains. When you finally realize this, if you even do it will be too late to turn back the clock. They want to condition you to the idea of always being watched, always being listened to, and always being guilty until proven innocent. This is not the liberty that our founding fathers sought. I have no doubt our founding fathers, if they were here today would be calling for radical change within this country. The only thing radical about liberty is it breaks free from the control freaks that wish to micromanage the lives of their subjects. They believe we are their subjects. They are in fact our servants, and it’s time they learn that.
Today, there are cameras everywhere. They tell you it is for your own safety. That’s always how tyranny starts, for the safety of the people. They can find ways to justify any intrusion into the lives of the masses, if they can make them constantly live in fear of an enemy of their own creation. Safety without freedom and the rights of the individual being protected, is not liberty, it is servitude. If people do not start standing up and speaking out, soon there will be no way to speak out because the state will control all speech. Dissension will not be tolerated. This is a Republic, where the rights of the individual are always protected from the will of a majority. They routinely call this country a democracy, and that’s a lie. In a democracy the mob rules, and should mob say let this group be in chains then it will be so. A republic protects the rights of each and every individual against unfair treatment from a voting majority. I just had to clear the difference up, so the next time you hear that word you understand the difference.
You hear the asinine argument that if you aren’t doing anything wrong then you shouldn’t have anything to worry about with the surveillance state. The government hides a lot of things and calls them classified, does that mean they are doing something wrong. If our government has the right to know everything about us, then shouldn’t the same right apply to us? The government wants to take away our guns, then we should take theirs away. The government needs to learn whose it’s master. It isn’t bankers, it is the people of this country. Without the people there would be no government.
It is time my dear friends to let your voices be heard, before you have no voice to speak with. We can not cower in fear because someone wishes us harm, or because the government says there is a boogeyman out there. There is no amount of danger that is worth giving up the liberties that our founding fathers fought so hard for. The constitution is not a living document as the new yuppie crowd would have you believe. The constitution is there to protect the citizens from their government. Those in power know this and that is why they try and sometimes succeed each and every day in perverting its meaning. We must stand as Americans against the erosion of our rights!! They are our rights, unalienable, they cannot be taken away except by death!
I remember growing up and learning in school about Republicans and Democrats. I also remember being explained the stark differences between the two parties. I grew older, joined the army and traveled the world. I smelled the stench of politics and political correctness on everything in the service. I got out of the Army and wanted to make a difference in my country. It is demoralizing to see the decay of a great country. This decay has been brought about by corruption and greed. The apathy of the general population is sickening. Far too many people believe everything they are spoon fed by pundits and reporters that are receiving their information from government disinformation agents. Oh does that sound too conspiratorial for you? It’s a fact a simple web search will reveal that propaganda has been legalized for use on the American people. This country was founded to escape tyranny! The criminals that run this country want power and money, they behave like full blown sociopaths. It is all about consolidating power with these people, if they can even be afforded such an honor of that title. This country seems to be heading for implosion. You might ask yourself why would our greedy, heartless leaders let this happen. They are on the top and with a collapse, they have less competition and more power to fuel their god complexes. You have plenty of people that won’t believe a word of this. Then you have the others that say, well there is nothing we can do about it; it has always been that way. This is a straight cop out. We the people are the power of this country. If we willingly continue to play along with the charade of freedom, we will forever be slaves. WE have the power to restore true liberty and freedom in this country!! This apathy is a reflection of the apathy these sociopaths have for us as American citizens. We are commodities to be traded on the stock market. The “Federal Reserve” isn’t a federal organization. It’s a collection of private bankers. They loan money to the government with interest that the government can never hope to pay back. This country was founded and was intended for the congress to have the power to print money. Politics and politicians have degenerated into money making schemes and over-paid prostitutes. A man or woman can’t get elected without the money powers backing them. We have Senators and Congressmen that spend most of their lives in Congress, and it’s not because they are loyal to the people. They are loyal to their pimps! We need term limits and we need those gangsters in their shiny suits to stop printing money for our country!!!!!!!
